TRAVIS COUNTY,
MARCH 2025
Following a 6-day healthcare liability wrongful death jury trial, Peter Anderson and Todd Allen secured a unanimous defense verdict in the 261st District Court of Travis County for their client. Peter and Todd had the privilege of representing a skilled interventional neuroradiologist who had performed a Kyphoplasty procedure on the patient without any complications. Although the patient passed away three weeks later due to the progression of his disease, the jury determined that the interventional neuroradiologist was neither negligent nor the cause of the patient’s death.

TRIAL VICTORY
LUBBOCK COUNTY,
DECEMBER 2023
Jeff Kershaw and Rikki Hirshman successfully defended two physicians in a medical malpractice case concerning a surgical complication. After a two-week trial, the jury rendered a defense verdict.

DIRECTED VERDICTS

The 215th District Court recently granted directed verdicts after nine days of trial in favor of two Defendants represented by H. Peyton Inge IV and James Sanders of Kershaw Anderson King. The Court previously granted Peyton four summary judgments and one special appearance on behalf of other Defendants in the case. In the underlying bus crash, Arnold & Itkin claimed their clients were seriously injured and demanded $60 million. The Court found their claimed injuries were not caused by our clients.
